CODICE DI COMPORTAMENTO |
 I membri delle associazioni nazionali affiliate alla I.L.A.B. - L.I.L.A. (...) sono tenuti a rispettare nelle transazioni commerciali le presenti consuetudini in quanto esse definiscono espressamente il codice pratico di comportamento - basato su particolari standard etici - che gli associati devono garantire alla loro clientela. |

CODE OF CONDUCT |
 Members of national associations affiliated to I.L.A.B. - L.I.L.A. are expected to respect the following ethical guidelines in dealing with each other and with the general public, because they effectively provide for the practical code of conduct based on special ethical standards that association members shall guarantee to their customers. |
 Gli associati sono responsabili dell'accurata identificazione e descrizione di tutto il materiale offerto in vendita. (...)
A meno che le parti non concordino diversamente, all'acquirente sarà dovuto il rimborso totale del prezzo pagato se le opere acquistate non corrispondono alla descrizione fornitane. |
 Association members are responsible for the accurate description of all material offered for sale.
(...) Unless both parties agree otherwise, a full cash refund shall be made available to the purchaser of any misrepresented material. |
Gli associati dovranno garantire o documentare nei limiti del possibile l'autenticità del materiale offerto in vendita. Se tale materiale non dovesse risultare autentico o se la sua autenticità dovesse essere oggetto di contestazioni, dovrà essere garantito all'acquirente il diritto di restituzione e di rimborso, salvo accordi diversi (...). |
Association members shall vouch for the authenticity of all materials offered for sale, and shall make any reasonable effort to establish their true nature. Should it be determined that the material offered as authentic in not authentic or questionable, that material shall be returnable for a full cash refund, or other mutually agreeable arrangement (...). |

Gli associati dovrebbero esporre chiaramente il prezzo su tutte le opere poste in vendita sia in libreria che nelle fiere librarie.
Il materiale non in vendita, o sul quale è in corso una trattativa, o che è riservato, dovrebbe essere accantonato. |

PRICES CLEARLY MARKED |
Association members should have all material offered for sale in their premises or in exhibitions clearly marked with the selling price. Material not for sale or in process of being traded or reserved should be appropriately segregated. |
